Stuart TUrner K and 1912 Genset for sale

Sad times but have to sell these two to go towards the house fund.



1930's Stuart Turner K - Only 63 of these made, mine is in original condition and runs well. There is a bit of a knack for starting it but magneto is good. £600 ono.



1912 Stuart Turner 1/2hp generator set - Runs but needs a bit of work to make perfect, magneto is rewound but couldn't get a cover holder for it. The electrical board is only roughly wired in and it needs a new exhaust. Included is the Stuart style one, it might be able to be brazed up. £1000.

Open to offers on the prices, not a clue really. All engines are near Chippenham.

I also have a Bohm HB12 hot air engine for £120 and a Stuart water pump for £75.

Hi Steve, that seems to be a difficult decision to have to make, I suppose it has to be home before hobby. In some ways I'm glad I'm not more local to you. Otherwise I might be tempted to look after them for a while, with an option for you to buy them back when your situation allowed.

Ruston is a bit far from Dursley for you isn't it?

Long story short, from the day I started with engines ive always wanted an open crank but couldnt afford a box of bits let alone a complete one, a friend died in 2019 and I was given the job of finding homes for his stuff but because of Covid his widow only got in contact with me a few months ago, I thought I knew his collection but didnt know about the RH, when I saw it I spoke with my wife and made my friends widow an offer which she was happy with and found homes for the other engines, not giving up my Listers though.
