Have some info on which config' was used on EG1 but I seem to remember someone running an EG1 with a Lister D carb' which might be easier to get your hands on. No doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

You will just need to make a conversion adapter plate as the Bamford inlet has a horizontal flange and the Lister D carb has a vertical flange. Use something like 1/4 inch plate, iron, brass or ally for this.

I have a Solex Carb that I think came off of a Douglas flat twin not sure if it would be any good for your project?
I've attached a couple of photos for you to have a look at.

Good stuff that you've found a carb. It may be a matter of interest to some that the one I have is a 26FHG. good luck with the restoration. Thumbs Up
