Solex carb
Solex carb for a Bamford EG1 required, cash waiting

Have some info on which config' was used on EG1 but I seem to remember someone running an EG1 with a Lister D carb' which might be easier to get your hands on. No doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I have heard of that conversion, would mind giving that a try if anyone has any info on it?

You will just need to make a conversion adapter plate as the Bamford inlet has a horizontal flange and the Lister D carb has a vertical flange. Use something like 1/4 inch plate, iron, brass or ally for this.

I believe EG engines were fitted with A Solex 26FH but cannot see model number on photo's.

Good stuff that you've found a carb. It may be a matter of interest to some that the one I have is a 26FHG. good luck with the restoration.

As fitted to Norman T300 - thought I recognised it.
