I'm looking for a Villiers 'pepperpot' exhaust or similar for my MK20. Or any suitable small engine exhaust that I could modify to fit.

Thanks.

I suspect I have the last 'new' one from L&S - sorry!

There is a half decent looking on on fleabay if you want the authentic look

I've considered something like this at a pinch but don't have the welding equipment/skills to attach bent pipe and flange.

Thanks for the links, I saw the Villiers but I thought one but I thought £30 plus postage was a bit steep as I didn't pay much more for the engine. I did look for 'generic' ones but I obviously didn't look in the right place as I didn't see that Briggs one. It would probably work as I have the elbow on a C12 exhaust. I was going to repair it and use the whole thing but it turned out it was to far gone to weld up.

Can't believe how expensive these are!
I found this, it looks more the part but is 3 times the price!

Yup, silly money these days.

You could try http://www.villiersparts.co.uk/ but I think he is sold out as well

Trouble is, the days of cheap parts are slowly fading away, even a second hand WD11 exhaust is £40 these days....

Engine for a fiver, not any more. You can see why whole engines get split for parts when the sum total of parts comes to double the engines worth.

I have ordered one of the Briggs ones linked above, at that price I can have a play with it. Planning to mount it vertically to reduce the perception of noise as mentioned in other threads on here.

I'll be very interested to see the result. I wonder what happen to the moulds / dies for the 'original' pressings?
Someone was manufacturing a couple of years ago.

Just remembered I have this.

Villiers exhaust 20210210

If you have the equipment and skills to spin a new top it might save you a bit of work.
