Hi Engine lovers. This is my introductory post and I'm here to tell you all about me lol.
Retired early at 60 from a very boring Building Surveyors job. Recent years have been mostly behind a desk, on a computer and loads of paperwork. Originally apprenticed as an Engineer and moved on into the Building Trade as Pipe Fitter and Plumber, progressed on to become Maintenance Surveyor. Love to work on anything mechanical especially old Stationary engines and Motors. Wife got me two Engines when I retired at 60 and now 10 years later I have just finished restoring the Lister "D" and ready to start on the Petter A1. Any help or advice from all and sundry would be most appreciated. Cheers for now. Post again soon.
