hello

my uncle has recently died and he had a couple of stationary engines that he left..1 we no about as it was my grandads , i have no clue about these type of things and maybe you guys can help me thats if its even part of a stationary engine ... if i dont find any info about it then ill just have to leave it out for the scrap man

Looks like a Blake water pump, not an engine. It needs an engine to run it via the v -belt that's coiled up on the top

thank you for the quick reply looking at the pictures of the blake water pump it looks right but someones put a perspex cover on the front .. it make sense now as my grandads old pump is a lister and maybe my uncle got this as a add on .. thanks again for the info as i hadnt got a clue Very Happy

Hi its a Blake pump with the cast iron cover missing as per my Blake, when its running oil is splashed over the running gear and they have covered it to stop oil being flicked out everywhere.
