Hi all,

I'm trying to set up the throttle on my PB6, at present the throttle does not work on the screw, but take the cover of the crank shaft end and manually pull the lever and it works the throttle linkage. Adjust the throttle screw out and it locks the arm for the governor linkage, Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Paul, Have you set the end of the governor arm to the pin pushed out by the governor weights?

Hi Billy

No, I haven't touched the adjustment yet, should there be a gap between the shaft and the arm?

Are you at Bigger at the weekend?

There should be a gap, I usually set mine with the engine running to get the speed I want.......but be careful. You will not be able to do this with the Lucas mag anyway.

I think the gap should be around 3mm. Mine are set to just a gap and no more to slow them down a bit. Is this a Lucas Mag or a Villiers?

I have not booked for Biggar, but if the weather is decent I will come for a walk round and a blether. Rgds Bill.
