Heres my latest purchase. Circa 1925 Amanco air cooled chore boy. spent all its working life on one farm in Dumfriesshire. looks like its been on this trolley all its life, and still in original paint which is how its staying.  I have ordered some leather belting to make up a new belt for the fan more in keeping than the blue rope. The battery box is an addition because the mag is weak. I had a few teething troubles with it when i first got it one of which being the part where fuel pipe enters the carb being solid with muck stopping petrol getting through properly.Amanco chore boy. 00210

Not a very good photo but heres what was stopping it drawing fuel properly,
Amanco chore boy. 00510.

Wondeful squire - and in its natural clothing as well - looks great - liking the clogged pipe - amazing how these engines run and run full of that kind of krud - the AK47 of the engine world!

enjoy your ownership !

best
