My neighbour has some engines in his yard and as I was looking around I found a Petter AVA1. I was wondering would it be worth adding to my collection?

If you like it then yes, the AVA is quite old now in engine years, was superseded with the PH.

I reckon they are a nice engine, if I could find a half decent one that is close to where I live and the right price I'd have one, would rather the AV, that is the water cooled version of the AVA.

Be inclined to agree, plus if the tin work is all bashed about as well, still a good engine though, and old enough to rally, young enough to use.
