two petter a' for restoration.

in the last couple of weeks these two turned up in the shed.
the first is a 2hp 1942 and the second is a 1.5 1946. the two horse is seized the 1.5 is complete but has no compression. I think I will leave the 1.5 as it is and will restore the 2 horse.

What's the betting the exhaust valve on the 1.5 is stuck open? Give it a whack through the sparking plug hole and see what happens!

the lack of compression was the rings stuck in the piston, they came out eventually with a lot of patience and a tin of creep oil. the engine now has plenty of compression. next thing is the mag. just a clean and new points and condenser I hope.
