Re: My Lister AK
very nice engine, there should be a drip feed oiler on the crank case door elbow like the one on my d type.

Re: My Lister AK
Hi Lister
Thanks for the comment!
I originally thought it was a normal A but i showed a picture of it to my friend and he reconized it was a AK missing its drip feed oiler
It looks like its still got its elblow for it but i might not bother to find a oiler i dunno yet?
Thanks

Re: My Lister AK
Nice looking Engine, you have to fit the Oiler they look really good plus you dont see many about.
I have an Oiler you can buy if you decide to put one on.
Do's it run OK

I started up my A yesterday Adam.
It started first time. But boy Ryan was right, i was not waiting for the kick back it had.
Ran it for 2 hours in dads garage, sounded really great.
I will try to file when I get 5 mins.
regards
Martin.

Re: My Lister AK
Martin it will not kick back if you start it properly, bring the engine up to compreshion stroke first petrol in ONE crank of the handle and it should be away

Will give that a try again, but did not fire on first crank, think it took about 3 turns.
Cheers

Re: My Lister AK
Yeh mine has got the right carb i believe!
It has the filller on the right and on the left there is a like brass plug that drains the fuel
My old A was smaller carb and only had the filler.
Also what is the right sequences to start the A's up mine aint bad but still a bit of an effort but once it goes it runs fine
I had no kick back yet though compared to my old one
Thanks
