this is on ebay but its got a bent crank but it does run can you get cranks for it? has anyone tried to straighten a crank before? and has anyone got any photos of what's behind the flywheels on a ruston? what else mite of got broken if you throw it on the floor? i likes the look of this engine and its not to far from me i am a welder/fabricator/engineer by trade so i am hoping it could be straightened. Mike

You are talking lots of money to get a crank made, if you can find some one to straighten it I will be surprised.
If this was done buy being droped there will be more damage some were ,cases, gears even the fly wheel may be damaged Shocked

i guess the best way is the way your going spares or repair

then the other person has the expense

like chris said the internal damage will be a lot

pity though there a nice engine
