Got a bit of a hot air bug as the minute and fancied something beta layout. Had this offered to me and it was the right size and price so had an early birthday present ...

It's a 1/4 scale of a 8" engine.

Thanks, ordered some etch primer and partly stripped it so see if I can get some paint to stick to Aluminium...

Lovely looking machine, which seems to run as well as it looks. Nice birthday present to yourself (I assume). I hope you continue to enjoy it, even through the painting process! I wish you better weather conditions and an easier time painting your engine, than I'm having trying to paint my project.
