My engine was made in 1946 and ran a milking machine, other than that its life is a bit vague.
I would like to see any pictures of a milking machine it would have run, better still an engine with a milking machine. I realise this is a tall order but if anyone can post some pictures it would make an old man very happy Smile

The Petter A1 and Simplex outfit looks like Mike Townsends old set up that used to be on a trailer and he alternated it with a Lister DK engine (the original engine from a local farm) powering it every couple of years? It was he who started me off with collecting dairy rubbish, he has a lot to answer for! Very Happy

Pete.
