Crank bearings
The crank bearings in my wolseley look ok, but is it worth me changing them while ive got the flyweels off.

Was there any play in them are they nice and smoth running if the answer is yes to both .

Yep, as Chris Says, if vertical float is minimal (the maximum allowable tolerance will be in the manual) then leave well alone, sideplay as in (in and out) is corrected in most engines with shims, and i dont think your engine will be any exception.
