Petter A1 oil capacity.

Hello all. I'm planning on changing the oil in my Petter A1 today. Does anyone know the oil capacity for the A1? I can't see any oil level mark anywhere.....
Also has it got to be SAE30 or could I use car oil.

Just under 4 litres of SAE30, there's a dipstick next to the oil filler hole.

As there is no oil filter, all the rubbish settles as sludge in the sump, so it's best to remove the inspection plate and clean it out before adding new oil.

Yes, that's a good idea. 4 litres is a lot more than I thought it would take. I think i'll buy a 5 litre can. Thanks for the information.
