Hello all

I'm Richard from Suffolk. For many years I've admired the stationary engines at various shows around East Anglia, I've finally taken the plunge to take on a restoration myself - complete first timer!

I've purchased a rusty and seized Petter A1, and am likely to be asking lots of newbie questions as time progresses!

Hi Richard, welcome aboard.

You certainly have project there Very Happy I've just finished restoring an A1 myself (in the projects section)

Be sure to start a new thread in the projects section to keep us up to date.

If you contact Jim Perkins with the serial number he may be able to give you some info on your engine - http://www.petterengines.co.uk/

Thanks Stuart

I will look up your project as I think there are a few bits missing on my engine - not least the fuel tank!
