Can you help and identify and age this engine please? I've recently acquired this engine it has a few bits missing flywheel, cowlings etc, it does not have any identification plate or ref. From browsing the net closest engine i can see is petter PAZ1 but not convinced. Id also like to know if its worth restoring or weighing in as scrap. Many thanks in advance

Armstrong Siddeley diesel engine , possibly type AS1, 5-6hp approx, built 1946 to mid 1950s, then bulit by Petters until 1962

You might want to start with a flywheel, unless you have it squirelled away somewhere Laughing
