I need to change fuel connections on a fuel pipe. However, I don't have/can't afford/don't have the skills to solder fuel pipes.

Any ways I can get round this would be appreciated! What trades could help me out? Would a local garage be able to do this for me?
Thanks

Could you use a compression fitting instead?

I know what you mean about buying more tools that might not get used a whole lot but all that you would need is a small propane torch a bit of new solder and some flux. That might prove cheaper than paying or trading some one to do it because you might find another job for the torch .Cheers and good luck Mike

It would a mechanical type joint just basically a nut on the fuel line pressing against a little brass collar to form a seal. Good luck Mike
