Hi All,
I have just picked up this unit  - another winter project!

Pincor generator C90f9593-0e3b-416a-bf85-af42f618cae6_zpsquzyofw3

It is a Powerunit DC/AC 250 watts No.1 (American)(1A),Model DB-12-A,Pincor specification No. SS-2856  1942.
I believe that the actual engine is a Briggs and Stratton ( no idea of the model), and that the unit was used in WW2 to power wireless sets.

If anyone knows anything about these units then please let me know.Thank you.

All the best,

Kev.

Hi Kev - saw your post on Smokstak originally - then again on here - there was another thread some time ago on 'stak where the moderator had mentioned he'd found manuals etc...

its seems to of gone cold but you might be able to connect with the original poster...

Hi Hamish,
Thanks for your reply - I thought that as the engine is American 'Stak would be the place to access information, but as you say the trail has gone cold.I did contact the person you mentioned and he is looking to see if he still has a manual.
All the best,
Kev.

Morning gents, it's been a while, but did anyone come up trumps with any info/manuals?

Thanks for the pointer Stuart. Found the manual online but looks like a completely different beast.
