My first project Villiers C12 Simplite Mk4 Pumpset
This is my Villiers C12 project
It started very easily, and runs very steady.
is this electronic ignition? and how can i date it?
But its missing a few parts, a tank strap and the rope starter mesh guard but i think it should have a recoil starter?Would you know?and the cowling is pretty beat up, if anyone has spares i would buy them if you want to sell and if anyone can point me in the right direction for manuals or for the pump i would be most grateful. I hope the pictures have worked

How goes it with this project?
There are manuals for the C12 E (Electronic Ignition) on the Winget site
http://www.winget.co.uk/UserGuide.aspx#15.
AFAIK, the only difference will be the ignition system which uses points on the older engines.
This thread on the Kitchen Garden website has the C12 Breaker Ignition pages.

I bought one of these units inc the pump last week. It's taken a few days to get the engine running, but it now starts really well. In fact it seems to start better when hot than the C12 E that I have on my Howard Bantam. I have only seen a hard copy manual for the pump, but Selwood is still going and look to be still making a version of the Simplite Mk4
